desolation angel tango

is the very first story of desolation angel. it was something i was starting to draw in the back of my head when tokyopop announced their first manga contest. well, needless to say they werent interested. but i was happy with what i had done and so i continued it. snapshot dreams essentially introduces the main characters, Genzo, Jo and Shay and tells a story of the origin of the desolation angel. Begins with “Chapter One: Snapshot Dreams”

Introduces more characters. Surprisingly enough for me - one kid, considering I hate kids. The brat's name is Bug. He is Shay's adopted son. The story also initiates a confrontation between jo and her ex-husband and displays more of Genzo's magic. And an uneasiness of what is the connection between the desolation angel and our couple, Genzo and Jo. Begins with “Chapter Two: countdown to none”

More is revealed about Bug when he meets his grandfather(who does not wish anyone to know that Bug is related to him). His Grandfather is the head priest of the demons who reside on the earth. Bug is very pleased to meet the O-zen-Sama and aids him in an encounter with ghosts. This chapter also introduces Bronco, Ozen's friend. Begins with “Chapter Three: Ghosts”

SHADOWS OF A FUTURE AFTERNOON- When Bug wakes up in the morning, he finds his father has gone to someplace he dreads. And Link struggles with his resolve to not to reveal too much of the the future he has seen in his visions. Begins with “DeadZone Prelude: Shadows of A Future Afternoon”

Gen and Shay go to the deadzone to get medicine that Bug needs. Shay's lover Link reveals to Shay that Bug is the next demon high priest- aka the demon messiah. And all the Houses in the city will kill him if they find him. Including the people that Link works for. Begins with “DeadZone: Present Attitude”

After Genzo's latest stunt, Shay learns that meks and magic just dont mix. Begins with “DeadZone: Meks Breakdown”
