Another dead person from Vision Chant. Apparently he is the chief of the witch tribe that is hidden in the Dead Zone. he has allied himself to the Uru-Hai. A Crime family that runs the Darkside. The Uru-hai is also aligned(secretively) with the Grey Tower People. Phoenix lost his last battle with Grey 30 years ago and was assumed to be dead. one has to wonder if he is spoiling for another fight considering his recent decision to support the new demon messiah.
Ran is a rich kid from the one of the most influential towers in the city. What is he doing running with Shay and Genzo. That’s his secret. He’s a reclusive bastard who scares Gen to his bones. Gen thinks his image of a rather shy ineffectual gentle giant is a complete sham. He’s got the aura of a man with a vendetta on his mind. Those people don’t fear anything. And as Gen has found out- a bit of cowardice goes a long way in keeping you alive. Also he seems to know about Jo’s past though he denies it. And Shay’s too. He doesn’t know Gen’s but he’s digging. It’s only a matter of time, before he finds out who exactly is Genzo! But right now he’s paying their bills. His project- he’s got them hunting down the Desolation Angel.He believes that the Desolation Angel exists and that the angel must be found and neutralized. Otherwise, one day, The Desolation Angel will destroy the city.
Lord Grey Canson is the head of one of the most influential towers in in the city. Once upon a time, he was probably a better person than he is now. Once he was called only Grey. between the black and white lies the grey. but things have changed. he has lost his balance. he lost his soul to save this city during the demon wars. I’ve not finished writing vision chant. I have to hint what’s been done in the past of desolation angel and not try to give away the future. but sometimes I wonder if the past is only an echo of the future and we cannot see it because we can only live on the surface of time. So what can I tell you about him. He is Ran’s father. In a way, he is evil and in a way he is not. he does a better job from running the tower than Ran ever could. He doesn’t see what Ran is plotting. But he can see what plots others plan against them and contrive tactics to counteract them. He is the most powerful man in the city. He is a very strong mage. Don’t underestimate this man.
